Dear Roosevelt STEM School Families,

I am beyond excited to start this journey with all of you as your Principal. It is a great opportunity for me to be a part of a school community where students, teachers and parents care for each other and strive to build meaningful relationships that support academic and social-emotional growth.

The curriculum will be taught through the Scientific Literacy model of problem-solving, discovery, exploratory learning, and require students to actively engage in a situation in order to find its solution. Students will have opportunities to collaborate with peers and develop critical thinking skills that will enhance the professionalism of the work. Students will engage in a Technological Literacy model that will increase the digital leadership as well as incorporating Informational Literacy. These literacy components will help our students to achieve success in college and later down the road when they join the workforce.

I know that this school year will be filled with challenging, inspiring lessons that will help the students achieve their maximum potential. I encourage all parents to become active members of our school community. With your support, our staff and students will have opportunities to take part in amazing activities and events that will highlight the students achievements.
